The project was founded in 2022 by Sergei Dolzhenko, a professional athlete and squash & padel coach. He moved to Dubai in the spring of 2022 not knowing a soul.

Newcomers to Dubai mostly meet in Telegram chats. Sergei started one of his own — a place where people could find opponents for padel. The sport's rising popularity and the simple desire to connect did the rest: the chat kept growing, and a community naturally formed around it.
Large, but homely.
"Padel в Дубае" is a community of players of every level — from beginners taking training sessions to advanced competitors. Every evening they battle for the community's signature prize: the most delicious pineapple of their lives.
Off-court, members explore the city and country together through No Boring Sunday — every weekend we gather for cultural outings and adventures beyond the court.
A community is not a club, not a league. It's the people you meet on court.
